The kitchen looks great. The photos check every box. But how does that Clemmons home fit your actual day?

Before you fall in love with a listing, take the location for a test drive.

Try your real route

Drive from the home to work at the time you'd normally leave. Then try the grocery run, the gym or another stop you make often. A map gives you a starting point. Your own trip gives you something more useful.

Look beyond the front door

Outdoor time on your wish list? Clemmons' Village Point Greenway circles Village Point Lake. Tanglewood Park also has a paved multi-use trail for walking, jogging and biking.

Visit the places you'd actually use. Check the route from each home you're considering, plus current hours, fees and access rules. A Clemmons address alone doesn't tell you how convenient a particular spot will be.

Match the home to your routine

Where would you work from home? Put your groceries? Store bikes? Does the layout work with your furniture and the way you spend your evenings?

Those answers matter more than a room that photographs beautifully but doesn't fit your needs.

Our office is in Clemmons. At Terri Bias & Associates, we can help you compare homes around your budget, must-haves and everyday plans.
